sorry bout the downage everyone. The server crashed hard. They managed to get it limping today so I copied all my stuff. I still have to go to my last backup for the forums, which was a few days old. They should be reformatting the server tonight or tomorrow morning. Then my admin has to lock it down, close all the ports, patch it up, etc, before he will let me upload the site again. So its looking like sometime next week. Really sorry. PS: Smoker--Dont tell everyone in WN about this. They dont know that Legion is coming back yet.

ok so a reformat and set up web server I am guessing late friday or sometime saturday?
its a hefty bit of work and this isn't really a server company you are using but a friend right?

No, this is a server company. The server will be ready within hours of the request for reformat being made. The wait comes in when my friend (who leases the server) has to get in and configure the newly installed Linux OS before I can use it. Its hosted here.

sorry about the lack of update info guys. Risen had an email about when I expected things to be up and also why. The timing was really bad in that right when this happens I was on vacation and going out of town. The site is back up and I am getting the forums up shortly (in the next hour or two hopefully). However this is evidently too little too late.

actually no i have done nothing yet just haven't been able to connect to it today either so I was looking into other ways to handle communication as it was beginning to take a toll on us

any idea when the forums will be back I see like you said the site is up but i get a critical error on the forum.

the admin went to lunch about an hour ago. he should be back any moment and we will be setting up the database. then all I have to do is upload the backup and it will be running. I am estimating with an hour or so, but whenever I get started it should take only a few minutes.
