"Simple Man" - Lynyrd Skynyrd:
The arpeggion intro is awesome and its actually played throughout most of the song...the other parts are easy so I know I can learn those as well...good song.

"Crazy Train" - Ozzy Osbourne:
I have newfound respect for Randy Rhoads. Wow-- playing the intro riff is alot of fun and my buddy learned the verse chords in a few minutes so I should be able to get those...not even gonna try the guitar solo.

What's everyone else working on?

Finishing the end solo for Eagles - Get Over It

I neverhave the patience to sit down and work on a song for more than a couple of hours.

If I can't grasp anything after that amount of time I move on.

Me and a buddy sat down and worked on nothing but Stairway to Heaven for 9 hours. That's the most time I've ever put into one song...

Hmm I don't learn any songs I like really. I mostly just fuck about and improvise leads over songs that come on Winamp which has helped my playing alot. Played very little in the last 11 days since Luna visited. I'm itchin' to get back into it.

HOWEVER, I have to say The Darkness has REALLY grown on me so I might do a few of their tunes. Bought the CD today.

Yeah, I bought the CD a couple of weeks ago-- I bought it because I loved "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" but most all of the CD is good and my faovrite has to be "Get Your Hands Off Of My Woman (MOTHERFUCKER)"...track 2.

Love on the rocks!

I think the only weakish tune on the album is Stuck in a Rut, but it isn't that bad.

eruption - van halen: just need to learn the first half of the song

master of puppets - metallica: the second solo

bed of razors - children of bodom: the solo

aces high - iron maiden: solo and artificial harmonics

bouree in e minor - J.S Bach: like half of the song

stratosphere - stratovarius: intro

how long have u guys been playing??

Well, I can't even come close on the first half of Eruption, so either not long enough or not enough.
