Has anyone seen the original? I never knew the backstory about making it, really quite freaky. Because of carelessness all around two children and Vic Morrow lost their lives. You can read everything about it here,

Yeah that was quite a big deal at the time. The lawsuit dragged on for years.
Great movie, hella creepy.
