I got a new 250 gb hard drive and I don't want to reformat.
What's the easiest way to transfer all my files?

I don't have personal experience with it but when I handed in my faulty Hard Disk in the shop to be replaced, they ghosted over all contents of the faulty disk to the new one. It worked perfectly. But I don't know what it will do if you're original disk and the new one or different sizes :/
I guess they used sumtin like norton ghost.

Size shouldn't matter (if the new one has enough space), but the physical layout of the disk will need to be the same for a true low level (sector/block) transfer. AFAIK, products like Ghost should be able to do a transfer to ANY other drive with enough space, it probably just works better if they're identical.

Doesn't matter if there identical just as long you have enough space. Norton Ghost works great, I use it at work to recover data all the time when I have to zero a customers disk and start over.
