Well, it comes down to this: (no spoiler tags required)
Denzel Washington is really watchable, he just has that screen charisma. The little girl does a good job in the movie too.
Tony Scott is a stylish director, he's got all sorts of film tricks up his sleeve. It's a bit dizzying, all the flashy editing and strobe effects. But with actors like Christopher Walken and Denzel, you don't need all that jazz. Let them act.
Your basic Hollywood revenge pic. Not a bad film, but not as good as Enemy of the State or True Romance. Worth a rental.

Bland movie overall IMO. Tony Scott's "style" was overdone and just got to be boring.
