Just wonderin how much this bike would cost for an 02 or 03 model and a ballpark figure for insurance... im a 19 year old male btw. Also, any good websites for good quality equipment like jackets and the what not. This will be my first bike so any advice is greatly appreciated.

A new 2003 is going to run you around $7k. You should be able to get estimates on insurance at www.geiko.com and www.progressive.com for starters.
The SV is a great bike and is very forgiving. It can own you though. It's got a v twin that produces butt load of tourqe. Starting on the '03 model, they added fule injection and changed to a more rigid frame. Bottom line is that after you have learned to ride you'll be able to own just about anyone on a on the twisties but will top out at around 127 with a stock bike.
You better get in on a safety course before you get on this bike thgough.
