Well I've tested at least 10+ servers with this bug and it's reproducible on all servers running fully patched, this bug affects stock and non-stock servers. What is it? Well here are some pics to help show you what it's about :
Note that I did this testing on my own stock 3204 server, but the bug is not limited to 3204, it was in the previous version as well.
DM-DE-Ironic:
In his view, he was crouched and in behindview 1 on his side, he looked like he was crouched. On my side, he looked as though he was standing and he was firing from his feet.


Here's a small gif showing what it sort of looks like when I fall into the ground:

The points that are effected I highlighted in red just so you can find them more easily.

DM-Compressed:
This also affects DM-Compressed near the ASMD base and the Rocket Launcher base. The fall-through effect happens on both bases and a nagging sensation happens every time a player runs across the bases. It is the same way with the meshes on Ironic.

Hopefully you’ll easily be able to reproduce these bugs if you can’t understand exactly what I’m describing. But I am also including three demos of the bugs in action. Please click here to see the demo’s. It is a zip file and zipped it only totals 4.5mb.
I hope this bug can easily be fixed as I always get caught on those problem areas and it’s really ruined the maps for me. I haven’t checked out the other maps for this problem, but I’m sure there are more maps with the same bug. I’m guessing it’s only a programming bug since it’s only reproducible online, but that’s up to you guys to figure out.

I watched the demo's, Even though when you look at the Character and it's not crouched, when the chat animation pops up you see that he/she is. also when they find the spot on the weapon base the character bobs a little, and yes this is really annoying.
JD this is a nit pic, the demo's are WAY too long. nice to see you run around get the shield and HP and stuff.

DM-1on1-Irondust
Here it is in irondust:

All five spots make you sink into the ground and you can't dodge out. You can only make an extremely lagged jump which warps your view until you're free from the spot.

Update 2/10/05: All DM maps have now been fixed and the static mesh snag/sink bug seems to not be present from my testing. So happeh!

Update 2/8/05:
After testing the new beta patch I am glad to report that the static mesh snag/sink whole bug has been fixed on a few maps, but unfortunately it is not completely squashed.
I hope this link helps the devs. 
Fixed! = Bug has been squshed from the map. There may be other bugs, but the static mesh bug is no longer present.
Semi-fixed = The bug has been addressed and has been fixed in some of the areas of the map, but one or two spots may remain problematic.
D: = Has not been fixed.

These are the only spots I've found in DM-Flux2 to with the mesh problem:
Lower middle area.

Lower right area by the adrenaline.

Lower left area under link ramp.

Lower rear enterance.

Upper right rear enterance near ASMD.

Upper right front-side enterance near 50a.

Upper left front-side enterance near link gun.

Ok, here's AS-Glacier.
The bug appears to be centering around the goal points with switches for this map, AS-Fallen City, and AS-RobotFactory.
AS-Glacier:
The switch to raise the bridge. Fixed!

JD, one thing I saw, especially in Glacier, the points you mentioned are the points the bots Run to, Very similar to weapon bases in DM and other Gametypes.
