I don't particularily care about the star TOOOOO much....but I have had my 450mhz machine pumping out a 400 unit all day (not night) every day for the last week and its like 88% complete....and yet becasue it took more then a week my star is gone....
I dunno what I'm trying to say here

I didn't realize we were taking away the star after a week's inactivity. Doesn't seem fair, does it?

are you going to be using G@h ? if so i'll get searcher to put your star back, we will have to figure away to let those with slower systems keep there stars ..

it was a decision that could be look at depending on what system F@h is running on

My P3 machine does 3 frames per hour. 400 frames... that's just under a week.

Sorry bazie... Somewhere in this mess of posting, gen0 asked anyone in your situation to let me know so that this would not happen.
BTW, I used two weeks, not one week, without a WU being sent, as a criteria.
So beat me with a stick or beat self for not reading this.
Anyway we have about 8 others who have also stopped or are on slow machines and lost their stars as well.
Carry on and I will put you on the "special" list!

I always knew bazie was "special"...

yeah searcher if you wouldn't mind...the situtation is thus:
I have two machines in my countrol a 450 mhz desktop and a 2200 laptop. I would totally have the 2200 laptop on 24/7 if it wasn't for the fact that the fan goes constantly...even when I mark the max cpu usage down a bunch it still does it and although I would like to contribute with my faster machine I can't really put up with that much noise in my room ...that and the high setting for the fan CAN"T be good 24/7....its so incredibaly hot even if it IS on....
So I will continue to contribute, albeit slowly with the 450 mhz machine...and probably will only get 1 unit down a week or so....for example this same unit is STILL not done...
Please put me on the special list, I won't stop folding
Just wish I had more machines under my control.....the atari computer we use for sales at work probably aint all that and a peice of caek huh
