WORK: P4 2.8 GHz with 512 MB "noname" non-ECC DDR
HOME: P4 1.5 GHz with 768 MB "Samsung" ECC RIMM
Either that or there has to be something wrong with the permissions @ work because my home machine is way more dependable.
The work one has been crunching on a tiny 46-pointer for what feels like forever.

I believe that since there are now so many WU's to do, they do not calculate points near as well as they used to do hence a 46 point Gromac may well take twice as long as a 96 point Gromac.
If you note that at times some users get point updates and I think that comes from a re-evaluation of Wu's.
