I got to see a screening of the new Michael Mann movie Collateral yesterday. 
I have to say I enjoyed it very much! I'll try to give a review without giving anything away.
The movie had its slower moments and some crazy action packed sequences which left my jaw hanging open. Although I don't like seeing Tom Cruise with gray hair it suited this part (he was able to get away from his nice guy personae). The acting was impressive (by everyone).
Even with all the known actors it was incredibly easy to fall into the story. There weren't any opening credits either. A great suspense/drama/action movie and there were a few moments of comic relief. I even loved how it was shot. Great movie!

I like Michael Mann, and I like Tom Cruise. Sounds like a winning combination.

I'm definatly going to try and watch this one sometime this week. So far I've only heard good things about it. Still want to see this chair scene

Great movie, saw it tonight. It's just a thriller, but it's very well done. Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx are great in it.

Wouldn't go as far as to say that really. Was enjoyable, and a fun enough movie, but not that great.

I think it's one of the years best as well. Maybe you should watch again when not so tired
