I am bored. So I thought that all the metalheads and lovers of hard rock here on t.com could gather together to talk about metal and hard rock and vote on their favourite metal sub-genre.

Out of that list, Progressive Metal I guess.
But aside from Pantera, I'm not a huge metalhead. I suppose that was 'Power Metal" and "Thrash".

Tough call. Priest and Maiden are of course great, but so are Gamma Ray, Helloween, Iced Earth, Fates Warning, Queensr˙che...Dio, Black Sabbath, Rainbow...Uriah Heep, Deep Purple...Waltari, Stratovarius, 69 Eyes...Lullacry, Doro, Velcra, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish...
I think the only metal I'm not really into is the kind without melody and lyrics(growling = nay)...or when music goes commercial 
Right now listenin to Bruce Dickinson tho, guess that means I should vote for Maiden...even though Kai Hansens pwns! I can still say pwns right?

i was torn between thrash and death metal.
voted for thrash cause slayer is my favorite. in death metal would be deicide or cannibal corpse
