Forsakn's A series of realy stupid but still unfortunate events(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

*it's said verbalization helps solve problems, and I’m the only one awake at 2 am over here so*
Lesson of the day: You never actually know how stupid you really are until you scare yourself till you can't stand down and type anymore, or until you can't even think about sleeping without something like a hockey stick or a baseball bat near your bed.
It started after watching a movie named "Shallow Hall" or something like that and getting myself kicked into my room when I annoyed my sister (turns out closing your eyes does not make you invisible). I was surfing the web and pondering (I think randomly) until I reminded myself of a little brick building in the park (actually it's a small tower/cylinder like thingy) that is empty on the inside and can be entered by a rather small doorway, something me and psike thought would be nice to turn into a decent beer spot. Anyway since in Romania uninhabited or unused abandoned buildings are too rare to go by unnoticed I began to wonder what kind of crazy shit happened in there. Began with teenage escapades: naughty: and eventually ended in bodies under the ground and cursed ground. As these thoughts went through my brain undisturbed I decided that it would be cool to look at the dionaea house story (see spam thread) since at the time when I found out about it was dark and I wanted to go to bed (same as when I finally read it but can't be as bright 2 days in a row can I). I also checked every link to make sure I didn't miss anything and read it all at once so the full force of it hit me without problem. After this I just had to (stupid stupid stupid) google it. And after that I came to realize several things:
1. my two part window is covered 3/4 of the way by blinds leaving only the part covered by some flowers which gives a series of weird reflections from outside and inside, but when I think about fully opening or closing them I imagine a bunch of red fungi covering the whole house besides that bit of window (I admit I greatly underestimated the power of Stephen king).
2. The plumbing to the heating system or something or other has a tendency to give a tapping noise (among others) that can get scary
3.whenever I open the door I have to open it just right or the black dog will appear from
the shadows and eat me (either I got this from Bones or this cool apocalypse movie with a girl striping near a crucifix)
4. I got these really freaky dreams that look hand picked out of horror movies, not really horror more like subtly disturbing.
5. I'm considering watching "The Ring" sometime soon, even though I’m at the moment afraid to drink water (The Faculty, maybe Poltergeist) ,and at the same time the trailer is giving me more hibbie jebbys.
The only way I could get on this chair is after watching some soft-core German porn and late night aeon flux cartoons.
Too sum it all up: I’m as afraid as a schoolgirl that's about to get raped by a tentacle (seems like the only expressions that can do the emotion justice) and I'M NOT GONNA SLEEP, NOT TODAY, NOT WITHOUT FIREPOWER.
4-5 hours to go till daylight.

I feel kinda stupid for posting (black dog from the shadows, what was i thinking) now that it's daylight but i'm still spooked.
At 4 AM i found out that my sister was having sleeping problems too, we practicly scared each other (a taste of mass hysteria). It seems that the balcony likes huming at night, in the day it's pretty silent. Barely got 2 hours of sleep in the morning and after that several "what the....?" moments, probably from sleep deprivation.
Also, the shadows at night (sounds silly).Sis got her final scare from a bunch of shadows from the blacony. Personaly, i have had my own experience with strange shadows and the last thing i wanted to hear was "It's just in your mind", nothing makes me more uneasy than shadows sudenly apearing at the 4th floor.

well i admit that beer place we found a couple days ago scared me too when i tryed to get some shut eye. thenagain, we'll be too wasted to be scared in te summer...i hope...i'll grab a rather large pocket knife and a baseball bat for safety's sake. i know forsakn will join me in my race for arms.

PITY ME.
Oh, and torches and pitchforks in the summer are out of the question, they're being stocked up for fall harvest. Not that i was chased by a torch and pitchforkless mob or anything.

No man. That was me. Called me "infidel" they did...

sorry i was gone. but i'm back. and i'm concerned.
FN, did you figure out yet what was causing the frights so badly that night? perhaps its time you and your sister both swear off horror films for awhile. and stories. i had to do that for almost a year once. the horrors seemed to be coming to life too badly once and that was the only way to escape them awhile.
i'll send firepower

well, you see, that tower thing actually exists. it's in a park. the tower's use if unknown. it was probably used to store things, but it's abandoned now. it has a small entrance, but it's not the original one, it's more like "do you have a back door? if not where do you want it?".kind of entrance. and in the summer we want to go spend nights in there, drinking beer and relaxing. so you see, it's not a horror film, or story. it's real life. an abandoned tower.

Swear off horror? But then life whould be boring.
And the reason for the fright: overactive imaginations and me. I just can't take life for what people say it is and once i get started thinking about the posibilitys it's hard to stop.

like a giant man-eating pumpkin?or maybe not. still that would make a great horror/comedy movie. or would it?
Posted by: oldgrrl
sounds like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and its sequel. we don't really need Killer Pumpkins. even though we know they already ate Peter's wife. see, that's what really happened to her. he left her in that pumpkin patch and the pumkins ATE her, he didn't put her IN one.

FN,
well, i know i love horror, too. but sometimes when you take a steady diet of it and nothing else, it too badly invades your mind. i still suggest a horror sabbatical. read mysteries and spy novels awhile. avoid horror.
