It appears Ive been banned from all forums except this one....and I assume thats for coming down on Whisper. If the mods would deal with the troublemakers..then I wouldnt have to. They dont enforce the rules then expect me to sit back and just take it. Not my style.
Let me say Im bitter about this. No warning..no email..nada.
Its been fun...interesting...and often kinda tough. No hard feelings towards any of you although a few of you I find disgusting..using the net for cheap shots on people you never would in real life.
So this is good bye unless I find out something other than a ban has occured. You can reach me at http://www.fappin.com in the Rants & Raves Forum there....where been a mod for a long time.
And to you who will find joy at me leaving...you can know you had nothing to do with it and you never got to me and dealt out anything I couldnt handle. That said, no hard feelings.
The rest of you, of course I'll miss you but no, I wont be back...not at all....Unless I get a major apology for this. I have a right to defend myself agasint the troublemakers and if the mods wont take care of I should have a right to do so.

Too bad. This IS dealing with the troublemakers: which happened to be both you and Whisper since you both repeatedly chose to ignore requests to get the hell over your personal issues and TRY to act like human beings.
The fact that it wouldn't even remotely occur to you that YOU have a part in this as well as Whisper is sad beyond measure, but what else should we have come to expect from you? If there's a better way of saying "I DON'T GIVE A SHIT" than to demand an apology from the moderators for actually doing their jobs, then simultaneously state that they aren't doing their jobs, I can't think of one.

Well, that warning sKunK posted may be old, but I guess it still holds. So yeah, the warning was given. Granted a while ago, and may have been forgotten (I know I didn't remember it until sKunK brought it up).
We both chose to disregard it/forget it, and so we got banned.
Why are you taking this so seriously? He's not your family. The only reason I see you'd defend him is because he's from your age group, so naturally you'd side with him, rather than with someone who comes from a different generation.

UY was only restricted to R&R by Skunk (along with Whisper and Parsifal), but in what must have been only minutes of Skunk's action (not even time to email if that had been planned) he came here and made it very plain that he has no intention of accepting any reponsibility for his own behavior and lacks either the desire or ability to control himself in a manner fit for participation in these forums.
I think most of you know that I seriously don't like making snap decisions and contrary to some beliefs banning a long time member whose posts I enjoy is absolutely never an "easy out". Banning is a final action taken after civilized attempts to solve problems fail and with very few exceptions, I've been stuck with the joyless and thankless task of banning people I actually like against every desire I might have to give them chances I wouldn't give to people I don't like.
I always hope decisions we make will be done for the benefit of the forums and prove themselves correct in the long run, but it rarely gets as obvious as this:

TBH, UY is full of shit. He's started plenty of shit in the past, and refuses to admit it, or take responsibility for carrying on things other people have started. He could always just ignore posts, and report them, like any other person could, but his head is so far up his own arse, he thinks he is always in the right. As I just said, and has been said already in this thread, he can't act civil. If someone even takes the slightest dig at him, he goes off on a tangeant. Some good laughs have been had with him in the past, but if he can't act civil, he should stay banned IMO.
Whisper is a cunt by nature, but as he has found out he can't score any AZN, he's got worse. I suggest not letting him back until he has gotten laid.

It's my understanding that UY believes he should have gotten a PM as a warning, instead he just got stuffed into R&R... had he played his cards differently.... ah well. Maybe that's what I always liked about him. OTOH, I can understand that when faced with a swarm of buzzing hornets, sKunk decided to whip out the jumbo can o' Raid rather than the butterfly net. Had a PM been sent to all parties, the buzzing would most likely have died down for a bit, but it would have been back... again and again and again.
"Forced Ignore" might be a cool new feature.

Actually, what they never told you was that it was, in fact, Moriarity who convinced the Captain and LaForge that they had put him in a portable simulation because Moriarity created a "false Arch" which put the unwitting captain and engineer into yet another simulation rather than the real Enterprise. As Moriarity had given them the illusion that they had gained the upper hand, the Captain and LaForge were completely unaware that they were still (and remained to the end of the series) trapped in a simulation running on the Holodeck. The rest of the crew (having had enough of the Captain's bizarre and deadly personal missions), just sealed the door to the holodeck permanently and left it running as they returned to the safer, purely scientific missions they had originally joined Starfleet for.
Remember, the instruction given to the computer was to "create an opponent capable of defeating commander Data". If the Enterprise computer is even remotely as advanced as they lead us to believe it is, it MUST have succeeded.

I wanna do that when the rugrat(s) get older. I've seen specials on tv about the Grand Canyon and was just blown away that it's not just a big pit that takes 5 minutes to get sick of.
There's pools and springs and waterfalls that I'd love to go see as well as all the historic trail tours and shiznit. I love stuff like that.

No, I was only there for about half an hour or so... ErMandez wasn't feeling too well at all, so we left again pretty quickly. It's on my to-do list tho, the scenery is fantastic. Don't forget to wear warm clothes tho!
