For V-Day, Rit got me The Sims 2!!!! 
This is weird, relearning the game. But I hope to soon be up to par then check out the whole Legacy game

I'm still chugging away building houses.
Have played one family for 10 game days just to see if the self direction AI works any better. They seem to do much better when left alone.
My walls and floors are doing well, may have a pack to post for download soon.

I made my Franklin Family (Shane and Roberta ). I put in the no-age cheat because I don't want these to die  But anyway - they're a couple days old now. Doing ok on their careers. Still not married  And I realized that I screwed up on their ... paths? Roberta is all about acquiring. And Shane is all about socializing. *sigh* I might have to start these two over.

Maxis is the only free site, the usual suspects (SIM Freaks, etc.) with pay sites are putting up more content every day.

I grabbed a bunch of stuff from Maxis today. I also noticed that TSR has almost all its objects free and some clothing too. I need to read how to install those. I miss the skins that DeCal made me though (the one of Rit and the one of me).
Have you made custom skins yet? Did you do yourself and DeCal? I'll figure out a way to capture a piccy of my Franklins tonight.

No custom skins, haven't figured out how to add textures to the library. Once we do, I'll "probably" bring my 'Mike's of HollySIM' lingerie into SIMS 2
May even do a particular shirt! (if ya know what I mean )

You'll find a lot of good downloads at TheSims2.com I stick to the featured artists' stuff. I also got a bunch of stuff at the TheSimsResource. They offer some free stuff and a lot it is pretty good. I got a lot of lingerie, clothing, and recolors there.

I've been downloading a few things - mainly from TSR. I'm making an effort to put them into catagories before downloading more. I'm getting sets mostly. It's a lot of fun.
I gave up on my Franklin family for the time being. I wanted a family to make generations with. So I started a Tree Family (Tree House - get it?) and they now have three kids. I realized I had made a custom neighborhood and there were no people. I started a single guy family named Brian Waters to marry to the eldest girl I have, Sarah Tree. Brian looks like the blonde guy from Stargate (Not MacGyver, the other one - the scientist)
