Ok. I'm a bit peeved. Forgive me while I rant.
The Sims 2 seems to not save custom objects where the game is installed. Usually I pick a drive for a reason. It's the BIG one where I want all the new objects/houses/whatever. NOT on my boot drive. Which is the SMALLEST drive. The one that I DON'T want used constantly. The one that I DON'T want written to all the time. The one I WANT preserved for BOOTING. For my OPERATING SYSTEM. NOT for GAMES. This is why I have FOUR 40gig drives. My boot drive is 9.5 gig. For a reason. It's for BOOTING.
Omg. So is there a way to move all that crapola off my C: Boot drive and back to my G: Games drive????

The reason for the "save in the user's document folder" is so that each user on the machine has their own custom game. That way, the Disco Green kitchen doesn't show up when I'm building a kitchen.

I had Windows (via TweakUI) move My Documents Folder from my C: (boot) drive to my D: drive. It was empty and waiting for 40 gig of whatever. Downloading, here I come!

If you ever come over, you'll have to show me how you did that. Downloading for The Sims 2 is both easier and harder, in ways. What I don't like is when I go to my documents folder to see my downloads, they're all in codes like ajfdoaufdaoruakhr. Like wtf is that and how am I supposed to tell what's what?
