Haven't looked in here for a while. So, how's everyone doing?

Posted by: B.R.Denton

well i just finished the test from management, and feel like being 95 or 100 % so a good day today it was..

Posted by: Psyko149

i'm still alive...barely...

Posted by: B.R.Denton

barely?

Posted by: Psyko149

the dentist wasn't in town for a while so i had to resume the work...and i have this little cavity between 2 teeth, that can only bee seen from the behind, si it's a bit hard to get to it. and i still hurts.

thank god i got all my teeth worked out at that visit some time back.. 4 cavities at once, but now i got at least another year without worrying and pain...

so hope you soon end up the same way i did..

next visit's on monday. wish me luck.

GF's offering emotional support .

but it's the dentist's!! i have this phobia with needels and drills. so the dentist's scares me....well, not actual fear, but more like "i don't feel like goin' today, maybe tomorrow" thing.

well i lost my last chance for a GF yesterday, when i finally officially found out she already has a BF

that's a permanent problem with me, girls i find interesting enough to consider a real relationship with, are usually so good that everyone would want them, and in conclusion, they're already long "sold out", all of them already have someone...

oh well, that's the regular trouble of a guy, who decided that he can't have anything less than a perfect woman... all the ones that converge to perfect-ness, are simply not available anymore

ok, enough with the sentiment in the morning.. i gotta finish my java program this weekend..

Posted by: Psyko149

there was one that converged to perfect-ness still free out there. so i gave my best shot.

and i worked out. damn my phone bill is rising....

well, good luck with your java program, and finding that perfect gf.

Posted by: B.R.Denton

hehe, thanks man

anyway, i give my best shots usually as well, but i didn't yet find the one that would be free..

you know, it's hard to find a tall beauty (ok, some would say 'looking like a topmodel' ), who is also nice, intelligent, polite and dignifying
these are a scarce resource but i'm still waiting to find one of this kind for me.. that could even most likely be the future Mrs. Denton

Posted by: oldgrrl

you will, one of these days. i'm sure.

Posted by: Psyko149

i'm sure you will.

best of luck.

i know i found her. and dude, she's 1.75(about this tall), well, she's okay thinking i'm 1.85. metric

and she is intelligent, but man was she shy...was. we got used to each other after a while.

Posted by: B.R.Denton

heh, yeah, something 1.75 - 1.78 meter is the ideal for me too
i'm 1.87 btw

anyway, i'm kinda sure i will one day find to but until then... oh well, what the hell

ogee wanders off to find a metric converter.

i think it's something like 31.4 cm = 1 ft

oh and what i know for sure is, 2.54cm = 1"

so 1.85m = 5' 11" i think

Posted by: oldgrrl

ah!.

that saves my brain from the math. you KNOW how i am with math.

i wish we'd moved to metrics decades ago. life would be so much simpler.

Posted by: B.R.Denton

i wish you'd moved to metrics too

Posted by: oldgrrl

for real. the metric system is SO much easier to work with when you understand it. that base 10 makes it LOT easier. problem for me comes in trying to convert things. like, i STILL can't get it in my mind how far a Klick is when somebody in a war movie says "40 klicks that way" or whatever. anyway, taaaanky. for the translation.

well, i always assumed Klick is a kilometer, and if so, it's not that hard..

since 1 mile is approximately 1609 meters, a klick with 1000 meters would then be about 0,59171597633136094674556213017751 of a mile

simply said, three klicks are just little less than two miles
