I guess this forum isn't read much if at all.
But if you're a Thief fan, you should do yourself the favor of downloading the fanmade Thief 2 expansion "T2X Shadows of the Metal Age".
I've just started playing it, and it's truly awesome! You really get that good ol' Thief feeling again.
It's taken the team behind it five years to complete, and it weighs in at 655MB, so it's a pretty huge thing for a fanmade game.
This time, you don't play as Garrett, but as a female protagonist, Zaya.
There are tons of new weapons, new enemies, new textures and obviously new levels.

Of course - this game is based on the Thief 2 engine, so the graphics aren't up to today's standards in that sense, and you'll also need a copy of Thief 2 installed to be able to play it.

Of course - my enthusiasm is helped a little by the fact that I made a couple of textures for it. 
But again - if you're a Thief fan and can get over the 1999 quality graphics, this is it.

I just found out about this about a month ago. I downloaded it and about 30 FM's. I'm replaying Thief II and will then hit all those FM's I grabbed. Then the big reward: T2X  !!!
