Well, it's pretty long, really, but.. i just read thru it all..
http://www.nuwen.net/dx.html

but now the most funny thing is, at the time i was reading it, i kept saying that i feel like i've heard / read some of these things before, and that the writing style seems familiar to me...
but i did not want to accept it at first, so i did not scroll down to the bottom of the page to look at the signature..

you might have a good idea who am i talking about now but don't spoil it for yourselves either... read it all if you have the time, even the rewritten deusex text files....

and i pay my respect to the one man/boy/whatever he is, who took all the work and wrote that page..

yup. i figured out who you were talking about by just figuring out who you were talking about. and i remember him working on that a long time ago. some people have NO life. hee.

Heureka!

Posted by: Shurik

Heh, don't see why everyone here hates him so much, but then, I haven't known him as long as most of you peeps.

oh no no, we don't hate him, it's not that...
he was irritating, very much, but still, it's not that..

it's hard to describe what it is, but it definitely is not hate...

now, be honest, BR. there ARE several people in the forum, mostly the DIS one though, who really do hate him. and i developed a severe dislike after watching throw rant after rant over on Ion's page.

annoying, yes. very much so.

currently i'd say i dislike him the most for his anime movie and scifi book critics... masterpieces like neuromancer or ghost in the shell, calling william gibson a bad scifi writer...
i lost last bits of respect on that.

btw. whatever happened with the movie. did that die in Development Hell?

i think that's the TENTH level if i'm not mistaken.

Posted by: SlaveOne

Sure we all remember good ol' STL

He is a damn intelligent chap, however, that doesn't excuse his annoying ways; acting like a smart-ass, preaching about morals and ethics and the stereotypical geekiness that went on my nerves.

Not sure, maybe it lost support after DX2 wasn't as big a hit as it was suppose to be
