I started watching Mushishi. I've seen 3 eps so far. It's a weird drama, with apparently each episode standing on its own.
Basically, this guy goes around helping people with their Mushi problems. Mushi are these strange life forms that can do all sorts of stuff, like take over your eyes, ears, etc.
I would recommend it if you want a laid back, interesting show. If you want action, look elsewhere.

Mushishi goes by in its own soothing pace (with appropriate OP&ED to match), and always leaves me relaxed at the end of each episode. Mushishi is a good way to end a stressful day by watching its stand alone episodes before you go to bed (thankfully most of the episodes have their conflicts relatively resolved, no cliff hangers or open endings).
It's drama mainly stems on how humans can interact with the relatively neutral Mushi (no good/evil intentions, the Mushi are just living naturally, doing what they normally do).
Ex: People who fear/hate/exploit/enjoy or are just simply curious about Mushi.
Mushishi received quite a lot of acclaim from
Anime Reactor's 2006 Anime Rewards: Tied for Best Overall, Best Story, Best Fantasy/Adventure, & Soundtrack.
