Can someone post (or PM me, if the code is sensitive) info on the Donor Star hack we've got implemented here?
I'd like to see about implementing it on the CapDom site, and would like to see what's involved in adding the text/graphics to the postbit.

The donor code originally came from the contributor label hack by MarkB on vbulletin.org. It has change a lot since then and most of our code will not be portable either to current vBulletin versions or to another forum at all. I would suggest looking into a more current hack on vbulletin.org designed for vb3. IIRC, there is a new "Contributor' hack for vb3 and several listed under "Paid Membership". In any case, once you have a "is_contributor" type of value in VB's global variables, you can then restrict access to different parts of the forum as you wish, exactly as we've done here.
